I’m nervous enough about this film sucking without having a bunch of supplemental material making me wonder whether it is just good marketing, expanding the world, building buzz etc (which is fine) or if there are fundamental story problems with 2049 that require additional content to be made to fill the gaps.

I don’t normally make fun of typos online because eh, who cares, but there has to be an Internet law about this kind, right?

Loved this show as a kid but revisited it a few years back for nostalgia - holy shit 80s tv was terrible and cheap and just terrible.

I’m a fan of the genre and have seen it done badly more than a few times but this wasn’t one of those instances. To me it felt like a show made by someone with an in-depth appreciation of the strengths and joys of exploitation and they made something special. Give it a shot with an open mind
