When the one-armed man looked up at Coop from the Black Lodge and said he'd been tricked, I started to wonder whether Coop is actually back in the real world at all.

This is kind of the polar opposite of the rest of the show.

It's been nice seeing the old gang in Twin Peaks (particularly Margaret and Hawk) but virtually all of the scenes set there so far have been by far the least interesting part of the new series.

I think Stan has a better range of stuff overall than Netflix Oz. Particularly movies. And yes, I'm stoked to come home to 4 hours of Peaks

I remember reading somewhere that one of Lynch's motivators for this show was constant studio notes that Twin Peaks was too complex and smart. He apparently decided on this as his slap-sticky retort.
