@erich47: What about getting glossy and putting an anti-glare protector over it?

@Mr.Gawn: Warn her if she's not quiet she'll be banned? lol I don't know, you got me on that. I wonder if they make no-meow collars like they have no-bark collars for dogs... :-/
@Mr.Gawn: +1 on both the squirt bottle and sleep cycle ideas. The other thought I had was let him go out. I just got newkitty this which lets him sit outside and shut the door behind him: [reviews.petco.com] (BTW, I had zero issues installing this, not sure why there's bad reviews, but you could also do up something…
@koali: check for a water leak somewhere. I had a similar problem last year, turned out there was a very small leak under my kitchen sink that left my cabinet just the right moist for flies/maggots to grow.
@dboudwin: english & spanish, mee too (bits & pieces of others, but not fluently)
@mjschmidt: in case you (or anyone else is interested), I have found (and am about to try out) this PocketNotepad for WinMo 6.x that would help with the original textfile/sync idea [tillanosoft.com]
@mjschmidt: hehe, I have a WinMo Phone, but I'm considering attempting the Android upgrade, just to play :) Thank you for the suggestions!!!! :)
@mjschmidt: I have a portable version of Evernote, but maybe it's outdated? It always defaults to a menu that I never use and takes a bit of work to find the page I want. Not complaining, Evernote is great for a lot of things, but for this purpose think I need something a bit more instant. Like a To Do list always…
@mjschmidt: I've been trying to use Evernote for this, as I use multiple computers. But I find that on computers that I can't install Evernote, it is kind of cumbersome. But it is nice that I can get it from my windows phone.
@kondrik: Perfect! :D
@kondrik: Thanks! I just installed phpBB...a little kludgy at first, but easy enough to follow ;) I think I might also install SMF and see which we like better. We're coming from vBulletin, which looks an awful lot like phpBB, so as long as the forum meets the minimum of vBulletin, I think the members will be…
@kondrik: hehe that's what I'm looking for, a dog to put upside down and dust my hardwood floors ;)
@Mickets: This is the one I use for traveling: [pacsafe.com] It's convertible to be a backpack or a messenger bag, and has safety features so it doesn't get snatched.
@brodiemac: hah, yeah, the last time I built a community it was faaaarrrr from free... This is exciting!
@brodiemac: Wholly cow, batman! That was fast, and the forum looks amazing! Exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for. MySQL, php, and all! :) Thank you! (I'm still open to other ideas if anyone else has input, but this is awesome.)
BTW, the white dog in that pic is super-cute, anyone know what kind he/she is?
Web communities and forums. Anyone got a recommendation for a killer forum, maybe php?
@xxthepatientxx: I used to have this book called "Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess." What was great about it was that he had little setups, and you had an opportunity to think your way out of them. That was a long time ago, though. Maybe someone has a computer program that does this, only better?
@John Steele: Just to clarify: I'm not buying, just interested for intellectual purposes. IF I did go for it, I'd be more into the ebay/craigslist idea, but even used too expensive for a vaccuum IMO. And yeah, the hard sale was icky.
@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: hehe, yeah, who has that kind of cash for a vaccuum...he did point out that Amazon sells them for $999 (and verified true) but w/o warranty too.
