No, no, no, no, no. She’s from POSH EDINBURGH. Posh Edinburgh doesn’t count as Scotland. People there have ENGLISH accents.

It means damp! When we had damp in our basement it had a fusty smell.
“President Obama’s on his way out the door,” he said. “He’s going to do everything he can think of to upset this society and this civilization.” WOW. because an anti slavery activist woman of colour is pictures on currency. Just how fragile your society must be I dare not imagine.
The only Shakespeare anniversary thing I have and will watch is Philomena Cunk’s spoof documentary (I’m British, we do so much Shakespeare in school I can still cite more of it than I care to). For everyone’s enjoyment here is Philomena’s summary of Shakespeare’s Complete Works where each play is summarised in one…
I’m youngish and have never been sent one and I assume it’s because I have never online dated and also that the last time I was single I had a pink Blackberry phone with no data plan and no wifi at home (I was a poor student and spent a lot of time at the library where I could also check out dvds to take home!). I’m…
THIS. There are people with exceptional talent who suffer no mental health issues, and there are people who with mental health issues with average talent. There are even people with mental health issues of immense talent who are only able to work between flare ups and express great frustration over how big a hindrance…
While London is big, it doesn’t have a motorway. And I guarantee you this bus won’t drive out to the areas that far away because the only people willing to pay for this are the people who live in The City. London is the worst.
WOODY ALLEN ANYONE???????????
HA, I’m the opposite. I am short with a slim build with no waist, no boobs and prominent shoulders. Anything fitted with a waist and space for breasts looks ridiculous on me. I’m loving the new trend of box fitted tops and flowy garments.
TOPSHOP PETITE CLOTHES ARE THE BEST PETITE CLOTHES IN THE WORLD.
My sister is the most chill person in the world. When she was pregnant with her second, she phoned mum and I to come over in the morning because her contractions had started. We hung about and she kept being like ‘oh no it’s fine my contractions are really far between.’ Then at midday she said, it’s getting a little…
If you like Ladies of London, you’ll love Made In Chelsea. Which is the young people (early 20s) version of Ladies of London, but m0re scripted and with no inteviews, just awkwardly staged parties and dates and confrontations and always drinking champagne and filmed through a very bright instagram filter in west…
I had mine put in two years ago (I am in my early 20s and have never given birth) and they did the whole fitting with some numbing cream. It didn’t hurt anymore than the worst of my period cramps. In fact they were exactly the same. The whole thing was done by a trainee nurse that did it under supervision of a senior…
“The test of the morality of a society is what it does for its children” said nazi dissident Dietrich Bonhoeffer :)
Yeah I love it, but the pay is abysmal compared to all other illustrating for some reason, so I would probably be better of if I could write as well! Grass is always greener...
And yeah, I work partly as an illustrator children’s books, because I have always loved it so much. The good stuff even more than a lot that is written for adults!
Astrid Lindgren is a gem. She was an outspoken advocate of children’s rights throughout her life and was a fervent social democrat who didn’t mind paying 102% in taxes for a few years. The Lionheart Brothers, My Mio My Mio and Ronja The Robber’s Daughter are easier to come about, but just as good.
Oops, sorry! In that case, if you haven’t already you should read My Nightingale is Singing by Astrid Lindgren. Its similarly poignant and beautiful and sad.
The Little Mermaid is written by Hans Christian Anderson. The brothers Grimm collected oral folklore and stories from Northern Europe in the 1800s that had been told for, well, no one knows. Hans Christian wrote ‘original’ fairytales around the same time, and a lot of them have very sad endings.
You should make all clinics like these because they are amazing: http://www.sandyford.org/sandyford-serv…
