That’s encouraging, thanks!

While the fact they are awful definitely shouldn’t be ignored and may for the sake of the structure of the show be glossed over or at least dealt with WAY too fast, I object to the idea that it doesn’t make sense for their antagonism towards Steven to basically instantly vanish.
That’s not a problem for censors though. Remember anime in the 90s? When censors hate content they sure as hell don’t care about continuity, they will gladly just cut an entire episode, important or not.
Better than the one I used. When watching this episode with a friend I went for “I guess when the diamonds invade, the cluster knows it is time for *puts on sunglasses* a hand job.”
Oh man, I missed completely that its a Mizukami Saotshi story. Goddamit, and it has to be a freaking mecha anime?! Siiiiiiiigh. I loved Sengoku Youkou and Spirit Circle to death...I guess I better at least give it a chance.
I’m super happy. I don’t have a switch, and I was afraid I would be missing out on a great new pokemon game but this really doesn’t appeal to me at all. Very toned down and casual, very first gen focused, pokemon go inspired. Not my cup of tea at all, and now I don’t feel any pressure to play it. It’s basically going…
Having issues parsing “you folk English real good”.
Well, I may be absolutely fucked now. I’m on medicaid and receive SNAP and don’t work. Over a decade ago, while still in my teens, I came down with a severe case of Ulcerative Colitis. It has kept me essentially completely homebound since then. Last summer it got so bad that surgery couldn’t be avoided, and I had a…
I’m having a hard time understanding anyone angry about this. They gave us a show set to premiere half a year from now. If you didn’t like what they did...it has no negative consequences? The worst thing is if you liked the current shows, you have to wait an extra week? If you wanted FLCL dubbed then you will get that…
What makes it even worse is the general public has a near complete lack of understanding about historical accuracy. Our understanding of history is, by and large, shaped by fiction set in those time periods, not an actual reading of history. I hear people bitch about historical accuracy all the time and then go on to…
This is off topic, but is replacing “biased” with “bias” like...a thing now? I’ve seen it in a few places and I don’t know if it is just a common typo or is it like...some cultural thing?
Want to second this. I despise the transition on the internet to putting everything in videos when reading is faster and more convenient. The number one way to get me to skip an article is to make it a video. These having transcripts ends up being the only reason I consume them rather than skip, and they are pretty…
Usually I am all “you do you” and “live and let live” but...skyline chili man? That pushes the envelope.
Which is exactly why I tend to dismiss people who bring up this generation bullshit. “Millenial”, “Baby Boomer”, it’s all asinine, completely arbitrary groupings of people that make for shit assumptions when you try to apply basically anything to the group as a whole. What year you were born in has so little to do…
Man, you’re right. Arizonans are WAY more racist against Navajo than Mexicans.
Cover is a bronco rearing at sunset in the foreground while a semitransparent picture of Jason’s face in complete ecstasy is in the background.
As a weirdo who has watched all of Angel multiple times but only caught a few episodes of Buffy, thanks for this. I’ve actually been thinking of watching it sometime but was kinda dreading the “season 1 of a long running show being really ugh” part.
Dude, you aren’t actually reading his post. He’s not saying “If he has Canadian citizenship, he isn’t banned”, he is saying “If he has Canadian citizenship, he should come to Canada”.
If you are curious about if you can legally discriminate (used here in the most neutral sense) against young people because of their age, the answer is yes, at least federally. At least under the ADEA, “Age Discrimination” ONLY applies to people 40 years old or older. Some states do have more specific laws protecting…
On this boat. One thing that still bugs me is I didnt realize ESO wanted first and last name since it was one box. My very first character has only a single name (Specifically as a Dunmer) and it still irks me.
