Interestingly enough, one of Da Vinci's students had done a copy of the Mona Lisa at the same time, and it was less aged and worn than the original. Physically cleaning the painting revealed the gal had them eyebrows.

The dock being able the scratch the screen if not careful itself is a problem, but the worst cases I've seen being presented are ones where the scratches are deep, which isn't a normal occurrence unless you're slamming the thing in there constantly without any care.
