The modern Shadowrun games developed by Harebrained Schemes (Returns, Dragonfall - Directors Cut, and Hong Kong), are turn-based tactical role playing games. There is nothing shooter-like about them at all.

You don’t even need to emphasise the freedom of player driven storytelling if thats not your jam. Plenty of game groups out there just want a dungeon master who will describe every room, trap, and monster in a fairly linear one shot dungeon crawl.

The grid where I live is 60 percent nuclear and 25 percent hydro.
