Publically traded corporation, or moral decision.

Maximizing shareholder value is why real wages, as in wages relative to inflation, have stagnated since the 1970s even as economic productivity has consistently risen in the long term over the last five decades.

You’re seriously underselling BG3 by saying it’s a more advanced Dragon Age. No CRPG has ever come so close to emulating the feel of an actual table top game.

It's because the categories it did win were consolation prizes.

Translating something to reality includes making it feel like it’s a part of reality, which we seem to have given up on entirely with these adaptations.”

The combining of heavily stylized elements with otherwise realistic ones is an aesthetic choice in and of itself. See also, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World or Kill Bill.

Lol no. The definition of indie game isn't vague. Any independently published game is an indie game. Because indie is short for independent. The name is, quite literally, the definition. Get a clue.

Lol no. You just don't know what an indie game is. Get a clue.

There is an indie game nominated for game of the year. You even mentioned it by name. And it happens to be one that blew everyone away

You don't think Baldur's Gate 3 has a shot at winning?

Baldur's Gate 3 is an indie game.
