When’s the last time you were in USPS? You seemed to miss that they do package delivery which is mostly what you see if you go into a location.
Is texting that phone number trustworthy? I haven’t seen much on where it stems from or who is actually handling your data. I’m not going to text my information to some random number.
If this was just the service sure but they’re giving out free games during the time period. I don’t see any reason to be negative about that.
Wait are you really surprised business accounts can’t make use of a consumer service?
I used it at EVO and it felt very cheap and flimsy. They could have gone heavier for a sturdier build but at the same time I see why they didn’t. There’s much cheaper add-ons you can buy to make the portable experience feel better that are much cheaper such as cases with handles built-in. There’s many more options for…

Given how many people are now working from home privacy is more important than ever.
I’ve been using a 3rd party tool called XnShell to do this sort of right click and instantly modify/convert an image. Looks like I can replace it with something far more trustworthy. Will have to try out the typing to switch windows things. I already have PowerToys installed - it’s been nice to see FancyZones go from…
Reading back through this conversation I’m really not sure what point you were making as you don’t bring up anything that is clearly the modem’s fault so why would they replace it? I think you replied to the wrong person? I’m on side “buy your own modem” and not “use Comcast’s equipment.”
You seem to be assuming modem issues which I pointed out seem to be pretty rare. You also didn’t acknowledge the compatibility list. This has gone nowhere.
Really? They would literally inject messages about upgrading the modem into web traffic for me. This was maybe a year or two ago. My modem was still technically rated for the speed I was paying for but they did have plans that would be beyond my modem.
Eww? Real mature. I don’t use macOS but why shit on an entire OS? You can find something wrong with just any platform if you want to. Just leave it out of the discussion unless that’s the focus of the discussion. Safari has a big advantage for battery life is my understanding as one of the reasons Mac users would…
Do you use an adblocker for Safari? I think in iOS they call them content blockers. Highly recommend. 1Blocker is what I use. I think it has a one-time fee but not sure if that’s different now.
This comes off as flat out rude and certainly reductive when the writer put a good amount of thought into the various scenarios. I’m guessing you didn’t make it past the headline.
Cable? DSL? I assume not fiber if it’s that old. Has your plan speed increased? You haven’t changed providers that whole time?
They put out a modem compatibility list so what if it’s listed? I can’t recall anyone even talking about modem problems in both my techie and not so techy friend groups amongst those who bought their own modem. I can guess one potential issue is the modem being too slow for their plan but Comcast bugs the shit out of…
I greatly appreciate that this is on Lifehacker. Not being sarcastic - I’m leaving this tab open for when I need it. It does sort of fit the site.
Anything in the article was added. Did you not notice the word “Update” at the start of that section? You’re still dodging any actual points I’m making here.
nd ive seen sellers touting speeds of a standard sata3 drive knowing itll be bottlenecked by the standard.
It’s not Forbes, it’s someone’s blog hosted on Forbes, always look to see if the URL is forbes.com/sites. Again, there’s a lot of anecdotes but I’m not seeing any actual official statements from anywhere. It’s all hearsay. Furthermore, anything about Verizon was added after my initial comments but again is just…
