That’s what happens when it takes years to create the console. Doesn’t really matter much as that’s how it has always been.

This article is about the PS5 and not the PS4 and given the speed it’s insanely obvious that it’s not a 2.5" SATA (or even SAS) SSD and it’s M.2 NVMe. Neither side is limiting here. The Xbox Series X is comparable to what you get out of a M2. NVMe SSD on a PC and Sony goes faster. Could be RAID0 or some sort of

What even is a “user advisory?” That’s not an industry team as far as I’m aware. This is just a collection of anecdotes. It doesn’t say who will be impacted such as if it’s specific to specific carriers, people who use specific applications, etc. Ultimately, that means there’s nothing really useful here, you just have

Pretty sure that Game Pass is what is keeping Sea of Thieves alive at this point so I think that might draw some interest. I have it installed and in my queue to play solely due to that myself.

The XBox solution to this is you can attach a USB drive and use it for non-active games and then load them onto the SSD prior to playing. Obviously that still requires some time but it’s a good option to get M.2 NVMe SSD performance while still having large storage capacity. That’s basically what I do with my PC

Do you use a M.2 NVMe SSD in your computer? Some games are damn near instant. There’s still factors such as loading the data into RAM but this alleviates some of that anyway. I think we’ll see a huge improvement in cross-platform games loading times across the board now that they can target SSDs as their base.

Learn to tell people no. That’s part of boundaries.

“System services” tells me more than anything in this article. That indicates that data is being sent to Apple. This is not magic. It’s technology. That data is going somewhere. There’s some sort of process causing this. There’s not even a link to anything from Apple here.

Right now there’s a ton of info about working from home floating around. Lifehacker is always a good resource for this. For your particular issue you really need to find a way to separate work from everything else you do at home. Create a separate work area if you can. Use virtual desktops to split work and play. Set

There’s no technical detail here and the linked article is just anecdotes. Where is the data going? What is being sent? What is causing it to be sent?

Gizmodo seems to have the same idea that I get from this - it’s meant to make governments and organizations take this more seriously but as the LH article points out it’s unlikely to really change anything for your average person.

But then you’d have to have a scooter you charge yourself, have to lock up whenever you go somewhere, have to take care of the maintenance for, have to be responsible for at the end of the trip (you’d always have to make a round trip), and you’re on the hook if it gets stolen. This is like saying “get a car so you can

It’s been proven time and time again that the vast majority of users need this help. Opt-out should be the most leeway offered not opt-in but even then that seems sketch because of “power users” who think they know what they’re doing when they really don’t. You should just use a different browser at this point.

FYI for shoppers: Most of the RAVPower stuff in the gold box does not use GaN tech which means they have newer versions that are smaller and offer more power. The gold box (which checking again seems to be over now) was mostly to clear out old stock as far as I can tell so these deals were not that great. In general

I look forward to playing the first game 10 years from now.

I guess my question at this point is whether Nomura is upset about what happened with FFv13 or if he’s making light of what happened via characters he originally created? Is this a no hard feelings situation and he’s just having some fun? Always hard to tell with this series when it doesn’t seem like a stretch to

Huh, I remember that not working, guess I’ll try that again.

I’m a fan as well but I want something lighter. I’ve been eyeing the newer models like this but I missed out when it was $60 so still using the G602 for now.

Have you contacted Logitech? Their warranty service is great in my experience. I’ve had my G602 replaced twice for free years after the warranty expired. Also the reality is that electronics fail. Even if it’s a small rate, say 2% die in the warranty period, when 100,000 people buy the product that’s 2000 people
