It added nothing? I highly disagree. It developed Beth beyond singing cardboard cut out and gave us a relationship worth caring about.

Pretty much, TWD fans are the worst.

Why so desperate for them to get back together? This new approach has given new life to the show.

Pretty obvious she was kidnapped, the show is mercifully past the time when they would have had characters do such stupid things.

It was just a teaser, calm the fuck down.

I can't stand people starting to use "filler episode" with TWD recently as if the show should always have some fast paced plot chugging along. I mean what plots can the show really have that would allow for fast paced story telling? The show is about the characters and that's why it's so important that they develop

1. She did not play Picard's old flame in TNG, she played a new romantic love interest and someone he met for the first time.
2. I loved that TNG episode "Lessons", she was so fantastic in it, really gutted to see she's dead. Damn! What a wonderful actress.

The Scandal sketch really reminded me how much I love her comedic style

Bryan Fuller is just great, give him his own Star Trek show already!

I loved this episode, great fun.

I'm also really invested in Beth's survival now, I feel like I know her better than most characters on the show after that one episode. They did a good job fleshing out Carol beyond her comic book character and they can do the same for Beth.

Take the ambien AFTER the show is over.

Not every show needs or wants a labyrinthine plot

I'm of the total opposite opinion, I think the second half of this season is completely knocking it out of the park. Also, funny how you feel an episode is pointless if no one gets killed off…it's obvious what you watch this show for.

That really is a terrifying story all in its own isn't it? I love the "texture" as the reviewer called it all those touches added.

This wasn't a bottle episode though? Have people forgotten what a bottle episode even is? This episode used a number of sets (and I was really impressed with the set design, sometimes I forget people have to actually make these sets).

It was pretty great, the writers didn't even need to force in a big zombie climax. This was a pretty good example of a filler episode, not like all that awful dreck in season 2. Remember trying to get the zombie out of the drinking well? God.

I agree, I just loved this episode. It's exactly the kind of thing I've been wanting from the Walking Dead, watching people wonder through a post apocalyptic landscape and learning about them with some great tension thrown in.
The pre-credits sequence was once again awesome and while Beth's acting wasn't always

What did you not like about it? I thought it was a fun concept perfectly suited to Parsons' style.

Yes? It was a fun sketch with good performances.
