Thank you!!

I’m hoping for a tie at this point in the Senate, assuming the two independents will likely vote with Dems (Bernie will, I’m not sure who the other one is, I need to look that up), and Biden wins, then Kamala would be the tie breaking vote and things could in theory still get done. Fingers crossed.

oh shit, that’s brilliant

I’ve got a trip planned in two weeks with friends, we haven’t talked about what we’re going to do yet (we very much need to), but with potential travel bans into the state of WA being tossed around by 45, I’m starting to worry.

There was a full blown argument in my friend group chat about 2 weeks ago over misinformation regarding the death rate of the disease. Two people were “yelling”, the rest of us were trying to diffuse with humor.

I’m supposed to be taking a trip at the end of the month (domestic), and while I’d like to believe the local officials that banning entry to WA is a step too far, I also wouldn’t put it past 45 to do it just to spite a liberal state that does not support him

Seattle area schools are closed until April 24th. It is officially getting eerily quiet in the city. The reports the last few weeks jumped the gun, and I wouldn’t say it’s a ghost town here yet, but I can get a window seat on the bus in the morning and that’s not normal. Also we’re starting to see small business

Same, I didn’t want him to run this time around. I was a Liz supporter, but she dropped out before I got a chance to vote for her.

I think the reason this primary depresses me so much is because all of these places that went Bernie in 2016 are going Biden now (or so close it barely matters), meaning in 2016, it was less that they were into Bernie’s policies, and more that they were against Hillary, because Biden and Hillary are pretty similar on

Emerald City Comic Con postponed until sometime this summer also. They seem committed to still holding the event at least, but it’s a bummer it won’t be happening this weekend either. For the best, but still sad.

This is what I’ve been saying, I’m afraid the only way we’re ever going to break through that barrier is if a woman becomes president because the current president dies, not because she was actually elected.

The last letter, my dude, talking is definitely a good idea, but you should also try LISTENING. You have said in your damn letter that she laid out for you where her boundaries are, she’s not interested in serious commitment and you keep trying to force it on her, no wonder she keeps dipping out! As someone who has

I’ve been saying this, if I can’t watch her debate 45, please let me watch her demolish Pence

All of that sounds great and I’d get behind that, but agree, you’re gonna need a company owned by queer folx to get that sort of coverage. I do find a lot of those articles around the interwebs though, even if they’re not on “dedicated” queer sites, so I feel like it’s less that they’re not getting written, and more

Some of us have bosses who refuse to digitize things and therefore can’t work from home very easily. I’ve been taking as many precautions as I can, but as I am not a tech person, I’m pretty dependent on being in the office to get my work done. I did hear that gov’t workers were encouraged to work from home today also

Came here to say this, please stop spreading fear and misinformation! Seattle isn’t becoming a ghost town, it’s just as busy as it has always been.

It’s almost like cis gay guys aren’t the only LGBTQ+ people in the world, who could have guessed?

TFW you have to read an article to make sure your racist aunt who lives in Mass wasn’t one of the women doing the attacking. *sigh*

Or pay off all of the outstanding fees for the folks in Florida who were released from jail but are not allowed to vote until they’ve paid all their penalties. Pretty big chunk of potential electorate being disenfranchised down there, a billionaire could fix that pretty damn quick
