Thank you! This was my take. I was the sole liberal in my group of friends in high school, and I was open about my opinions, but respected theirs also, and we were all fine even though we had different viewpoints. I don’t think they left because of your political alignment sweetie...

You assume they’re being taught these things in any sort of depth. I went to school in VA, the only thing we learned about extensively as far as history goes was the civil war. Everything else was touched on at most.
