Yeah and you see a lot more in the media about Uber because I have a record of my Uber driver automatically on my phone. I don’t have any record of the looney in the yellow cab unless I’m able to record their # or license plate.

I don’t know! Lyft is so much better - they actually send an employee to ride with potential new drivers to make sure they’re not psychopaths (Uber does not), and does more extensive background checks. They’re much, much more responsive to customer complaints and are a smaller company with better control.

Marketing. They were incredibly successful in tapping the “stick it to the man, share-economy” market. Who needs regulation and licensing? C’mon kids, let’s put on a show in the old barn! That’s filled with rapists!
