Razer really needs to get their act together. Keeping that much innovation from everyone, even if the wait is just a little longer, is cruel. I mean, what else are we supposed to play PC games on while out and about?

The best bit of advice I can give is to have the right mindset going into Dark Souls. This mostly entails learning from the mistakes you make. If you do this, it makes adapting to the game much easier.
What? Does the calendar refer to Cthulhu as a "water elemental" or something?
Lovely. It really makes me wish that there were more Cthulhu Mythos games, though.
"your actions have consequences". *Spoilers follow*
Everything feels incredibly solid, like your actions have weight to them. Combat is satisfying because of this. A decent amount of strategy also comes into play when fighting the games' various monsters (all of which are awesomely designed), and the feeling of toppling a tough enemy is amazing.
Or you could play any other MMO and pretend that you're a Jedi/Sith. Fanfiction.net also has a bunch of super-duper interesting Star Wars entries you could read to emulate that storytelling experience Bioware is so good at.
"Fun".
Yeah. Nah. Dark Souls is the better game. I'd rather have all-around great gameplay as opposed to fulfilling an extremely basic desire to wander about, which is the one thing Skyrim does well. I've said this in another thread, but the depth of Skyrim extends only to choosing where to go. Everything else is mediocre,…
It has nothing to do with forcing the player into anything, but once they've arrived at a story it should be good.
The "substance" in Skyrim is entirely dictated by the player, and mostly involves the decision to explore either here or there.
I really enjoy the exploration; it's easily my favorite part of the game. I just wish the stories were more interesting, the characters less one-dimensional, and the game more technically sound (though I'm not expecting perfection by any means).

Golly gee wilikers! The melancholy song playing tells me that I should feel something, and the copious amounts of slow motion are conveying the dire nature of the conflict. Also, as others have explained, there's DINOSAURS.
I feel this way about pretty much every moe-kawaiidesu uguu anime character ever.
That is so awesome! A friend and I had watched that same video about cordeyceps and had talked about how cool it'd be if they started to affect humans. I'm now slightly more interested in this game, but I'm going to wait and see what they mean by "survival". I can totally imagine it being something that is completely…
"Far too cumbersome".
There hasn't been a game so far that has convinced me that motion controls can do things more efficiently than standard controls, and I really doubt that Skyward Sword offers such a mind-blowingly unique experience that it couldn't be done better with a regular gamepad. Z-target + right analogue stick for sword…
HOLY shit. Did you fucking see that? That was SO goddamn funny. That guy did what people do in VIDEOGAEMS. In REAL LIFE. That's why it's funny. That host is funny too! He's like, famous and talking about videogames!
