Nah, character swapping got taken out cause the DS couldn’t handle them. That’s why Zero Suit and Sheik have their own places on the roster. Red wouldn’t be shifting characters like that, he’d just have a giant red fist to smash people with. Easily handled.
The only thing stopping it from taking over the world is the amount of inventiveness in every level. Just too damned creative for the masses.
Yeh Joe’s an icon, but he’s not Nintendo exclusive. It just makes sense for Nintendo to push their new property in Smash Bros, especially one that’s so fresh, creative and action packed.

This makes me feel good. It would be easy for them to pump out a 'Zelda by numbers' game, but it sounds like they're reaching for something more interesting than that. Whatever happens with the Wii U and NX, we could end up with the most forward looking Zelda game since Ocarina.
