That’s probably that’s probably partly because most unions are run by people that are only in it to make a buck for themselves. So they are corrupt. The only union that is run by its members is ALPA. Look how they’ve gotten their guys paid lately.

Point is no one was close to $71m. Atlanta was reportedly in the $40m range. So knicks negotiated against themselves and overpaid when they didn’t have to.
