There are plenty of people that buy games shortly after launch without any discount. I usually wait for a discount for most games, but there are the rare times when I pay full price because I want to play it as soon as possible.  Mechwarrior5 and LEGO Skywalker Saga are the only recent examples I can think of.

I’d argue James Gunn is more deserving of being a contender than Taika is. He took barely-known characters and made a distinctive movie from what had been made in the MCU before and made it work really well. Taika and other MCU filmmakers since benefited from his success doing something different IMO.

I honestly thought it was supposed to be Damian when watching the trailer. Im glad its Tim hes my favorite but I feel like they could have done Robin as Damian and then Tim as Red Robin

I could have sworn somebody on the staff actually said it was Damien back when the game was first revealed.

I agree that these designs all read more like Damian to me - edgier and “cooler’ instead of the brooding genius junior crusader I imagine in my mind’s eye. I’m suppose I’m happy to see Tim get some time in the spotlight though.

I think the issue was more, if they cast a white man again it might be seen as somehow admitting it was a mistake to cast a woman as the Doctor- at least you can be pretty sure a lot of horrible people would have been smug about it.

Crimes of Grindelwald played like an overstuffed adaptation of a book - much like the movies of Half-Blood Prince and Order of the Phoenix. The problem is, there’s no book to refer to if you want to fill in the missing pieces.

Actually, Dave Grossman was quite involved with Tales of Monkey Island while working for Telltale as lead designer. So this technically isn’t his first comeback to the franchise after 30 years, since Tales came out in 2009.
