I’m glad he was alive to get Ghostbusters: Afterlife done. The interviews for the film make clear that it was both a passion project as well as something that really mattered to him as a father to have the son who tagged along with him during the original helm it, and he apparently had a cameo as a CGI stand in for

It’s the phrasing. “A man went to the moon” is someone making an active choice to go to the moon, but “We put a man on the moon” sounds like someone was placed on the moon by other people, regardless of their own volition.

Hmm, I get what you’re saying. Given all he’s seen now, though, and the fact that he’s the inventor of time travel... space travel in the future might not be so hard for him to wrap his head around. But “We put a man on the moon” without the “and he and the crew returned safely as national heroes” bit does kind of

I guess I took it as a penal colony thing? “put a man on the moon” maybe read differently.

-Some of the robo!Legends stuff felt like they forgot halfway through whether or not the robo!Legends were self-aware.

One of my favorite sight gags ever on the show was from the bowling episode when Spooner was celebrating & lept into Astra’s arms & Astra is so much taller she held her up well off the ground

- I’m gonna wager a guess that Season 2 Thawne is still supposed to be after Flash!Thawne, despite how little sense that makes, but it’s Thawne after all.

I always am upset when Legends team members leave & the team is shaken up, but damn if I don’t love every single current team member & I want all of them to be there. Even New Constantine feels like a real team member now, as does human Gideon and (grudgingly) Gary

The problem is that by marketing it as seemingly it’s own thing, it being just a smaller part of the larger Mandalorian story isn’t conveyed to the audience in any sort of good way. Call it “The Mandalorian: The Book of Boba Fett” or “The Book of Boba Fett: The Mandalorian,” something in the actual title of the show

Speaking of rat’s ass...

We’ll always have the pantless duck.

I think the show is pretty good at telegraphing its pairings, and as full of chemistry Astra and Spooner are, yeah, their relationship to me really felt definitely platonic, specially contrasted to all the obvious hints of Behrad liking Astra since he met her.

Spooner & Astra to me feels akin to the Ray-Nate platonic best friend bromance, one of the best things the show has ever done, & I think is a worthy successor to that

Gwyn probably.

I enjoyed that one. Didn’t expect Thawne to show up, but the whole “You have to promise to take my place!” seems like they’re setting up yet another ‘out’ for a member of the cast.

Who’s leaving next? Sarah or Nate?

I enjoyed the hell out of this episode. It was fun without overdoing the wacky, and had a lot of heart. Also—and I cannot stress this enough—it featured a fucking *DC Comics character*. Okay, granted that it was a previously established one, and he wasn’t wearing the suit, but just the same it was nice to have some

Matt Letscher’s return as Reverse-Flash would’ve been a fun surprise had the promo pics not spoiled it. That kind of explains one of Thawne’s mysterious resurrections. Sara doesn’t mention his appearance in “Crisis On Earth-X!,” which hasn’t happened yet from Thawne’s perspective.

I might like to know a bit more about what being asexual means to Spooner, but of course I respect her preference.

The really novel thing about Knives Out was it was a movie older generations could enjoy (Boomer moms love their mysteries) but it wasn’t yet another Agatha Christie adaptation— I like them, but even the recent ones can feel tired and creaky.

Yeah, I’m shocked this episode got such a glowing response here. For me, this is one of the weakest episodes Legends has done since season one. Now I’m wondering if I just let my dislike of reality TV affect my enjoyment of it.
