Don't know if anyone will see this, or how important it may or may not be, but I find it pretty interesting that Stanford Pines drives a car with the registration "STNLYMBL"

@avclub-14e4cee178d88fb9aa346dbcc11f2873:disqus Allen didn't marry Farrow (which was part of my original point).
Then the drums leading into "Don't Lie".
I hate to be Mr Pedantic (actually I don't), but Woody never married Mia Farrow and never adopted Soon-Yi Previn. Of course it doesn't actually make what happened any less sad, but "adopted step-daughter" puts an unnecessary added spin on it I think.
I think Match Point is OK. A pretty good movie which is overvalued in the Woody canon because of what came immediately before and after. Probably the third best of his post millennium films, obviously I can't comment on Blue Jasmine yet, which is looking promising.
I'd say they're more "minor Allen" than "lesser Allen".
Sleeper is my favourite of his "earlier, funny" films.
Boo sir, boo and indeed hiss.
INSERT COMMENT
I've still not watched the final 2 episodes. I wanted to wait until another network picked it up and now I can't stand the idea of having no more Happy Endings episodes waiting to be watched.
The latest Gravity Falls episode is awesome.

None of it comes out written down like it does (and is clearly intended to) in the podcast. Also I'm totally stealing his response to people who claim season 3 was bad.
1) Manhattan
2) Annie Hall
3) Play It Again, Sam (I say it counts as a Woody film)
4) Bullets Over Broadway
5) Sleeper
I know some people aren't too keen on Midnight in Paris but I love it, there's not a lot going on under the surface but it's very witty, entertaining and great to look at, his best since Bullets Over Broadway IMO. VCB is probably a mid tier Woody film also, so I'd say they're both worth checking out.
I always thought Community season 2 was one of the great comedy seasons, but I'm currently done re-watching season 1 and knowledge of these characters and where they go has at least meant that a couple of episodes I wasn't a huge fan of first time through have definitely grown on me. Of course in season 2 you start to…
I think Police Squad is fantastic, one of my absolute favourite TV comedies, and I'd definitely say it's superior to the Naked Gun films. The tone is probably halfway between Naked Gun and Airplane!, not everyone is a complete bumbling idiot but there aren't exactly any "straight men" either.
The second series is coming soon (not sure exactly when, but Sky have started advertising it). At first I was worried it was going to come off too much like a Police Squad rip-off, but it managed to sidestep that simply by being hilarious.
Well S5 is already pretty much guaranteed to have Harmon and McKenna on board, Bobrow is still there, I can't see them not utilising Jim Rash, and there's some big hints that the new season will see the return of Dino Stamatopolous, so there should be a solid foundation to build from.
