I don't think you've looked at the map.

You really need to look at one of the maps from the books and see just how far it is. It's not a straight shot sailing, either. It's navigating around several continents.

I'm curious if anyone has pointed out just how astoundingly far Meereen is from the Iron Islands, and how Theon and Asha (sorry, Yara) make the trek seemingly overnight as if it were nothing. That's a several months/perhaps years journey.

That's eerily similar to what I tell friends who want to go to a strip club: I'll save you four hours by kicking you in the nuts and stealing your wallet.
