Except what looks to be “filler” in Filoni’s storytelling has a habit of becoming important somewhere down the line.

You need to redefine your idea of filler. Or just excise that term because it’s practically useless.

If you have been following Dave Filoni’s storytelling the last couple of years, you’d know that these characters will show up again at some point. Either later in this season or next. Dave is usually very deliberate with his story telling.

I know it gets mentioned every episode, but once again, the quality of the animation is blowing me away. Raxus was straight-up beautiful, from the foliage to the military hardware to the architecture of the city. Just phenomenal work.

This is not a filler episode. Of course everyone can see their own thing in any work of art but thinking this show is about solving any case or winning a fight is setting oneself for disappointment. Looking for Mephisto behind the curtain where there is none.

Yeah, this is what I want to know, because it’s the reason I never bought Halo 5, and it will make or break whether I eventually buy this one.

I got such a kick out of the Enterprise showing up at the end (and it looked fantastic), so of course the AVC review hates it.
