Oh, I definitely think teams are using it as an excuse — easy way to play off a loss and blame something else.

But from a bigger picture standpoint, it just seems odd to me to not have a universal league ball (which I didn’t realize wasn’t the case until reading this).

So yeah, teams are looking for other excuses and…

But is it really? Maryland doesn’t seem to be having a whole lot of trouble playing with other balls too. It seems more like an excuse to me. I would get it if they were just dominating teams, cuz that shows a noticeable difference. But they don’t have a bunch of road issues either.
