One thing I really hate is people passing me and moving into my lane without leaving a large enough gap between us, forcing me to slow down.

It’s difficult to judge distance in the video but I would says he was definitly not camping. In order to make a lane change driver needs a gap to the work truck behind him. My

Check out Teslabjørn’s review. He reviews all EV’s on the Norwegian market at least. Bjørn hasn’t reviewed the Y yet as it’s not available over here but has done a lot of videos on the Mach-E. Despite his nickname I find his reviews to be well balanced.

One thing that really bugs me about my Model 3 is the road noise.

In my experience, what really makes the e-bike a chore to bike when the battery is flat is the drag in the mid-mount motor.

Probably ‘99 GMT :P

I believe Mr. Tracy owns stock in POR15.

To be fair. The anti-Tesla-stans is just as bad. Ì disagreed on an “anti-tesla-post” that quoted Elon Musk. The guy’s argument against me was that I disagreed with Elon Musk and as a Tesla-stan that would make my argument invalid. Except I’m not a Tesla-stan and I didn’t agree with the anti-tesla “article” posted.

Instead of spending money on batteries, why not spend it on cabling? Each parking spot can have a dedicated charger with robotic arm.

This must be many moons ago. I drove across Germany last summer and there where very few opportunities to give it the beans for more than a few seconds at a time. Trucks governed at 55mhp over taking other trucks going 54. Lots of traffic and construction. The autobahn is great for rapid travel, don’t get me wrong.

I’m pretty sure the non-existent computer in my ‘94 4runner will outlast the one in my Tesla.

The storage device has a limited amount of write-cycles before it craps out. Tesla used a type of storage, small emmc, that doesn’t have a very high limit plus they wrote a lot of logs to said storage.
My understanding is that in future iteration they log less and have a larger storage device which means better

I’m no GDPR expert by any stretch of the imagination, but if I as a European customer get my MCU swapped and Tesla doesn’t handle my data in a compliant manner they are in breach of GDPR which can get pricey.

I have a charger for my Ryobi One+ 18V batteries that plugs into the cigarette-lighter. I have a camp light, compressor and bug repellent that use that battery system plus several power tools. I haven’t bought their chainsaw but seen good reviews for light, sporadic use.

$5.56 per US gallon in these parts (Norway) which my cars run on used veg oil and electricity respectively.

And here I was thinking A320 was some sort of Merc you only get in the US.

There’s a guy at work who drives a Harley or some other loud, chromed motorcycle. I was in the down in the basement garage parking my bicycle when he rolled in. I’m pretty sure the sound levels in that garage was above legal thresholds from that motor idling.

Not a very high bar...

Seconded. I want a wagon EV. If my model3 had a longer roof and a hatch it would have been perfect! Perfect form factor. It has a lot of other flaws.

Exactly. The only reason it has those stupid doors is because then people couldn’t be fooled into thinking it’s not a minivan.
