Totilo isn't arguing about the quality of the games here, simply numbers. And in that respect, Call of Duty dwarfs Halo, even if Halo's numbers are really high.

I've been to Halo: Reach's... but it was at a Gamestop and wasn't much of a party. Just a bunch of nerdy dudes standing in a line for an hour and a half. At least at Best Buy they have a Horde tournament going. I'm still undecided but I'll probably just skip it.
