Meh, if Battlefield 3's campaign is anything like Bad Company 2's, it will be just like CoD with destruction and pretty graphics. Which is to say, pretty good, fun while it lasts, but not very memorable.

Yeah, that's really not a bad deal, I'm just more of a save money up front kinda guy... I like Amazon and do a lot of shopping there, I just don't like that the $20 has to be spent on a game and within a fairly short time period.

I was just coming onto this thread to post the same thing. I really love this game. I'm not even huge into JRPG's and it's probably my favorite game of this year so far. The music blows me away. And the voice acting is, for the most part, amazing.

Techland handled the situation very well.

In store, yes. I'm not sure about online. And my guess would be the standard edition. I didn't see anything about the Augmented Edition.

Although I would have to agree with your first sentence, I have to ask judging by the second: did you read the article? They say right there at the top that it's not a GTA clone. You can't even get out of your car and walk around in this one.

I haven't beat it yet so I can't really say for sure, but as long as the game stays as excellently paced, well written, epic, and fun as it is, (judging by the reviews, it will) I think it will be my favorite JRPG of this generation, and possibly favorite RPG in general.
