Whenever I hear anybody complaining about any cosmetic things as being solely for vanity, I hear bout something like this and it cheers me up. There are some uses for cosmetic alterations that make a truly wonderful difference in people's lives.

I grew up in Iowa and I miss the farm-fresh corn and meat... While the farmers markets in California might have good fruits/veggies of all the other types, I can't find corn that isn't hella overpriced.
