I agree that NGE isn’t about fighting mecha, but as someone who is very uninterested in fighting mecha movies and anime, the way NGE does it is incredibly enjoyable to me. That and the bizarre Judaeo-Christian mythology woven into it.

Well, one of the insurmountable issues Netflix placed in front of themselves for Death Note was that they tried to fit it all into a single movie. At least they’re giving themselves more room with Cowboy Bebop.

I have never played a Pokémon game, even though it’s definitely within my age range. Yet, I’m intrigued by this movie.

You know, I immediately thought she looked like she fit in the Overwatch style, but I didn’t, inexplicably, think the next thought and wonder what she would be like as an Overwatch character. I agree with UnknownKadath that she’s closer to Pharah than Black Widow, but she really ought to be her own character.
