I agree that NGE isn’t about fighting mecha, but as someone who is very uninterested in fighting mecha movies and anime, the way NGE does it is incredibly enjoyable to me. That and the bizarre Judaeo-Christian mythology woven into it.

Well, one of the insurmountable issues Netflix placed in front of themselves for Death Note was that they tried to fit it all into a single movie. At least they’re giving themselves more room with Cowboy Bebop.

The new is initially pretty surprising, but when I think of it, it’s surprising E3 stays as relevant as it does. Everyone has access to the internet now. Publishers can just send their messages when they’re good and ready.

I have never played a Pokémon game, even though it’s definitely within my age range. Yet, I’m intrigued by this movie.
You know, I immediately thought she looked like she fit in the Overwatch style, but I didn’t, inexplicably, think the next thought and wonder what she would be like as an Overwatch character. Indeed! In a game that focuses on exploration, why would you even have to think about how you’re going to get up? Obviously you should always be able to fly. In fact, we could get so much more exploration done if we just did away with collision and moved through the worlds as a ghost.

What’s funny about that is that I don’t even actually endorse the piracy of the last TellTale games, just that I don’t have any motivation to fight it.
I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he’s being ironic, to give me a dose of the kind of things he imagined I would say to pirates. But it’s straining my good faith.
