Man, I don’t get the hate for that episode. We get to see Eleven do some growing up, and we get to see that the world of Stranger Things is bigger than Hawkins. I hope we get to see more of Eleven’s brothers and sisters in the next season.
The only thing I agree with you on a little is Jonathan and Nancy. Nancy is way too forgiving of the guy who secretly photographed her in a private setting.
Good stories are often a tangle of plots. You could also say that if you removed the Shadow Monster and Demodogs, the plot was exactly the same, if the only story you cared about was Max and Lucas.

I definitely agree that the game was creepy as hell, but that didn’t stop me from tearing through them. My favorite was Challenge of the Ancient Empires, which was basically just a platforming puzzle game, as far as I remember.

You can hear doors open in PUBG, too. It’s why I tend to close the doors. It’s also hard to bust through the doors, since they open at their own speed.
I laughed pretty hard at that.
“Slow” isn’t the right word for it. The game builds tension. It doesn’t feel slow when you’re scared shitless that things will go sideways at any second.
Conversely, you can always parachute in on hotspots and hit the ground in an immediate skirmish.
