Man, killing hookers is a far more integral experience for others than it was for me playing GTA V. I guess I was doing it wrong.

I did not back this, so maybe my perspective free from feelings of being jilted. This does not seem to be the doom-song everyone is says this is. Once you have some assets, the battle system, and a way to control the characters, it’s far easier to let your opponents be controlled by another person instead of…
Can’t the server toggle this?
It’s their domain. They don’t need words to legitimize their rulings. They don’t have to say anything. They could be completely random and arbitrary and it would still be legitimate. Riot just wants people to know why people they’re banning people.
The right to free speech means that the government can’t stop you from saying something. Companies are allowed to moderate conversations within their own boundaries. This does not violate people’s right to free speech.
So this Star Wars game clones Diablo really well?
And that actually looks pretty good for PSX.
It’s just as likely that he built around that and decided to design a sexy character around it.
And, assuming it isn’t vinyl, clothes shouldn’t impede it.
I’m sure Kojima made Quiet’s exposure an integral part of MGS’s plot. He’s the writer, he has that power to, especially given the loose adherence to natural laws that the Metal Gear franchise exhibits. It doesn’t need to be shoehorned in for it to be offensive.
And then he went on to say that there was actually a really good reason behind it and that we’d feel ashamed for ever doubting Kojima’s intentions. That’s what made it worse.
How the men in the game treat her doesn’t matter because she was clearly designed for the player to ogle, as we can see in the clip above. But what makes this worse is that Kojima is trying to pretend he didn’t do this for the fan service. Like his hands were tied and the character was designed how the muse dictated.
What? Of course he did. The explanation is stupid, and even if you force yourself to accept it, Quiet’s clothing choices are far from ideal for her needs.
Kojima wanted to see chicks dress up in a certain way, so he worked backwards from there so that people would cosplay as Quiet.
Re-read her comment. Patricia’s issue here isn’t with the outfit as much as Kojima’s weak-sauce explanation for it, just so he could pretend that it wasn’t 100% about fan service. Raiden’s nudity is irrelevant, and, in the context of society, nonequivalent since fighting-bikini-babes are over-represented and nude male…
You should try reading what she said. It’s only two sentences long.
Agreed. The dishonesty makes this particularly distasteful.
Yeah, I tend to like to check out all the sliders when I’m in a character creation screen, but, sometimes I’ll just go pure random. In Dark Souls, I’ve built characters for a certain look, but never on my first play through. In my teens I was pretty into superheros and drawing, so I’d like to design my own superhero…
I don’t care what perceived worth I’m considered to have by strangers. If I need to change to please them, then they aren’t worth pleasing.
