Interesting seeing James Rollins’ Sigma series on this list. Don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned here before.

Saw VI is my favorite because US medical insurance deserves to be tortured in horrifying ways. So I am all in for sticking it to medical scam artists (or having them stick it to themselves, as it were).
Old people want to retire somewhere cheaper and warmer. My mother retired and got a condo in Florida. Despite their shitty government.
You should also stop using it because social media is demonstrably bad for your mental well-being.
Yeah, that's largely where I land on it. The series still should have ended with the Last Crusade, but at least now it ends on an ok note rather than a disasterous one.
This is obviously an armchair comment from someone with no engineering credentials, but it’s interesting to see what I believe to be the titanium end cap and seal ring to both be largely intact. Looks like both of those survived this catastrophic failure, and lends credence to the concerns of experts about their…
It’s not pressure than causes problems, it’s pressure differences. Any pieces that blew off suddenly had the same pressure on all sides, and no longer had large forces acting on it.

I get a very distinct feeling that Stockton Rush sees himself as analogous to Elon Musk. I’d wager he thought that in a similar stroke of genius to inventing reuable rockets, he could drastically reduce the operational costs of luxury submersible businesses to make it “accessible” in the same way. The weight of the…
It’s not the girl’s fault some dude high off herding ducks decided to play in traffic without paying attention.
Are you seriously trying to victim blame the guy who was run over here? It is absolutely the girl’s fault, and only her fault.
Oh, “Finest Worksong” belongs on here, too.
Pretty great list, but I can’t abide you omitting “Finest Worksong”. Kicks off Document and just bangs.
I definitely got the impression that Kendall is blowing up the deal just because Mattson pushed him. He’s sick of people treating him like he’s weak and will back off just because they say so, especially someone outside of the family.
We already saw the line from the trailer that implied Logan’s candidate won the election, which means that’s fully up in the air again. I’m fully guessing that Tom screws it up somehow.
I really enjoyed the opening ‘60s news program with Bighead from Silicon Valley.
Hooked from the very beginning. The prologue was spectacular and honestly a shock. You just don’t expect that death
Yep. We knew/know a lot of people. There’s a period in your mid-late 20's when everyone gets hitched. We went to a lot more than 17, that was just the record for a single 12 month period. We were aghast. This was back in the roaring 90's.
I have a soft spot for House on Haunted Hill, mainly because of Jeffrey Rush’s performance. I’m also a fan of Jeffrey Combs and was disappointed he had such a minimal role, considering all the exposition focused on his character.
