I have a feeling that the author didn’t watch WandaVision.

Heck, Dr. Strange 2 itself introduces a new female character who is incredibly overpowered, but not vilified, just scared and young.
And with the bonus of a certain female Illuminati member getting the most screen time out of the whole group, kicking ass, this critique really holds no merit at all.
Also, not only does the movie goes out of its way to show that Strange’s time with the Darkhold wasnt without repercussions (which I guess might be limited because Wanda destroyed it in the end), but it also makes it clear that every single Dr Strange that has used it in other universes was corrupted.
Captain Marvel was going to be my response, as well. Thanks!
Wanda was destined to become a villain since the day they decided to adapt the character from the comics, because that’s exactly what happens in the comics.
Wanda’s fate reminds me of Daenerys Targaryen’s in the final season of Game of Thrones. Both stories depict power corrupting once-beloved female characters, who are then demonized and ultimately disposed of.
I mean, this critique would probably have a lot more merit in my opinion if MCU’s answer to Superman wasn’t a woman? With a multitude of diverse women heroes taking up residence in phase 4, (literally nicknamed M-SHE-U), I think this is an unfair observation. It’s just not true. It sounds to me like you just don’t…
So basically it took them six years of grinding workers to the bone to come out with… the pirate mechanics of AC4 but made worse with a bunch of live-service elements no one asked for?
I’ll star you, it feels less dirty.
Never make me star you again
Sometimes you eat the bar...
Now that’s an apology a cowboy by way of Sacramento and Portland can be proud of.
It’s no head scratcher as to why these fucking companies are pushing NFT’s so hard. Fuck your non-fungible tokens!
If Hugo had a category for games when HZD was released it would have won with 2nd place being quite the afterthought.
The best part of HZD is it answers literally every question you would have from the first few hours of playing. All in a nice neat self contained story where you don’t have to go to other media or play future games to understand what’s going on while still providing enough crumbs to set up other games (but still lead…
Yes it always gives you just enough in the main points and if you want plenty of extra information. There’s no huge infodump at the beginning just a steady ramp up of information.
Honestly HZD has one of the better explanations for it’s apocalypse, it was a nice change of pace that there wasn’t a super weapon that saved the day. I really hope we get to go to Elysium in forbidden west, and that there are just more of the lore dump bunkers I loved going through those.
