Just asked the wife if I could spend 90k on my ‘14 Laramie. I barely got 707HP out of my mouth before she said no...
Not a day goes by that I don’t miss my 85 CJ-7 Laredo. It’s issues were charming and interesting challenges to overcome. My 09 JKU issues are annoying and complicated, and the newer Jeep has little of the charisma that my CJ did.
I see it all the freaking time !!! Such a huge pet peeve. And the drivers have no clue when I try to inform them: flash highbeams from behind them, along side of them with a flashlight trying to get their attention and or yell over, turning my lights on and off in front of them or turning on my rear facing aux lights.…
I’ve always done heel or middle of foot on the brake, toe on the throttle. Much finer control of braking and throttle blip.
Chris Evans looks and sounds like a ‘Make a Wish’ kid got to host Top Gear for a week. He has a face for radio, a voice for silent movies and a personality for corporate health and safety trainings.
My Ram 1500 has the dial on the dash, it took some getting used to but it’s second nature now. Except for when I reach for the radio or HVAC control and place my hand on the shift knob. Or vice versa.
