They kept Shredhead out of TMNT III & TMNT 2007 too.

Or they could....like...pay the writers and actors?

I am actually all for rebooting rough franchises with interesting bones. Why do we need to remake lilo and stitch in live action when treasure planet is sitting there begging for the pg-13 pirates of the carribean treatment!

godzilla i cant wait for this! over the weekend i was at my dads and we were killing time waiting for Svengoolie, which i might add had a great movie, and i got him to watch the Heisei Trilogy for the first time.  he said he was gonna watch the MST3K movies next day he has off.

Amazing fossil.

The first time I saw the film I was expecting the detonators to be reversed, with the civilians deciding to blow up the prisoners but actually blowing themselves up, from the Joker’s perspective that would have been one hell of a joke.

I was going to mention it too. That scene was an interesting social experiment. Also, the cell phone surveillance system Batman used to track down the Joker’s hostages.

The bigger the shark, the more scales. The total area of the keels would probably add up to a surprisingly large number, even if they were individually small. Pushing yourself through water is hard work, even when you’re big. Any advantage would be selectively favoured.

For now.

And Macron leans even harder into authoritarianism.

not a Xbox?

You left out the part where they had a $2B deal fall through recently, which likely prompted this “belt-tightening”. Essentially, they spent money like crazy to inflate their value for a potential sale/investment, it didn’t work, and now since they fucked up they gotta lay off a bunch of people and close down studios

Looking forward to the coming dust storms, and a maize-only diet... :P

Yeah this has been a well-documented problem. Even Phil Lord was on twitter imploring theaters to turn up the volume. It’s a shame it came out like this TBH.

Even if they can’t, one of them should be able to. Wheeljack is the inventor/scientist/engineer of the group. He should be able to do something about poor optics.

Oh, so it's not just me? I thought for sure it was my shoddy ears who made me miss most of Gwen intro, but I am to haply to hear it wasn't!

2. There’s a behind the scenes featurette on the DVD showing all the PRACTICAL PUPPETS AND SUITS THEY MADE FOR THE MONSTERS. And then they decided to SCRAP ALL OF IT and went with CG. Talk about a kick in the fucking teeth.

Agreed. I don’t care about the Snyder cut of “Justice League”, but I’d LOVE to see the original version of the Thing prequel. That director got gang-banged by the studio a la Indiana Jones in that South Park episode.

Yeah, it was a letdown for sure. I liked the plot, I loved the casting. It felt very much like they were taking care to make a really good prequel. The post-production CGI really bummed me out. I think it was studio mandated, not the choice of the director? But I’m not sure.
