The answer seems to be “less than you think.”

In this case it is quite possibly because the devs know that despite Epic paying not that many people want to actually use Epic game store so they’ve got a while to fix it before the vast majority of PC players will take a punt. These days other than going to grab the free games because they’re free I won’t touch Epic

PS3? You’re generous. Some of those shots look like FMV games from the 90s

I don’t understand what more character detail would add to a game like this. It’d be pouring money down a hole.

That’s the idea, yes. Gill structures extend significantly down the length of the body, and probably more critically, around the area where the brain is found. Keeping warm by regulating the flow of cold water is pretty clever. What’s even more interesting are the adaptations required to manage oxygen in the blood for

I don’t think there is anything potential about it being a scam mostly. Yeah they have a program that runs but the perpetual pre-sales and cash for in-game items just stinks.

Now playing

It has been downloadable since I want to say 2014 with Alpha 1.0, with a “hangar module” that was basically a way to walk around the 3d models of your ships, and a dogfighting module where you could fly and battle with them. In 2015 they released the “Persistent Universe” (PU) in Alpha 2.0, which is the open-world,

Given that you can download and play it, it’s neither vaporware nor a scam. Both of those rely on nothing actually being produced, while misleading consumers. A continent-spanning team of multiple studios and hundreds of developers that release new content regularly is not a scam, just because you don’t like the speed

Bethesda will release the alpha version of Starfield and call it final, and then wait for modders to fix their bugs and restore unfished quests and so on.

Guess that depends on what “out” means. CIG could just slap a 1.0 version on the current build of Star Citizen and the game would officially be “out.” But as No Man’s Sky has shown, “out” doesn’t mean the same thing as “finished.” These days, almost every game gets at least a year of post-launch updates so 1.0 doesn’t

You already know the answer to that. I was a fairly early supporter of Star Citizen but it won’t be out any time soon.

No, this is Tony Plow. You know, from Leave it to Beaver.

This game was my most anticipated announcement ever since I played the first one, and I spent each E3 holding my fingers for this to be the year... until they actually announced it - what a “monkey’s paw” moment that was! My hype has further died more each time they have shown it off.

I realize that this hasn’t a thing to do with the content of the article, but I’d like to thank you for not making this another goddamned slideshow.

So, Texas politicians will praise this as the free market working as intended right?

Nice, yeah, I’ll have to check it out if only to feel like I don’t leave that thread hanging.

The only issues I’ve had is with the AI getting stuck on something so I can’t talk to them to complete a quest. Once a guy got stuck on geometry, another got stuck on a natural bridge, and the last time I dropped a stormbird on the quest lady. Each time I’ve had to fast-travel away and fast-travel back to fix it.

We non-upper-canines are homo Imperator. Come, boy, see for yourself. From here, you will witness the final destruction of the Alliance and the end of your insignificant rebellion.

AHHHHH!!!! (charges)

Came here to say this.
