“Why do her boobs keep growing with every Guilty Gear game Arc System Works releases?”
Inglorious Basterds works because it doesn’t pull punches or pretend it’s something it’s not, and it’s extremely self-aware. This game is the polar opposite, without any of the self-awareness. It’s crass and dumb, and it gets a lot wrong, even besides its clumsy handling of racism (and weirdly absent antisemitism).…
This is my problem with the push for diversity in games.
To be honest I don’t really understand the facination with open-world games. Sure, there are some REALLY fun ones out there, but it also feels like it’s one of those words that makes people instantly froth at the mouth and slap the ‘masterpiece’ stamp on games instantly.
while her clothing will stretch realistically at the seams.
They really should do a Code Veronica remake. I only played it once, but got stuck late into the game. I think I ran out of ammo? In any case, I'd like an update so I can actually beat it this time and see how the story ends.
This whole thing was kicked off by extremist Haredi marching through Palestinian neighborhoods, attacking their inhabitants, and screaming “DEATH TO ARABS”, all while under the protection of the IDF.
Generally speaking, I don’t have an issue with believers being in office (even though I’m not one), and it seems like most of them - both in terms of religion/denomination and at an individual level - understand and respect the Constitution’s clear anti-theocracy stance.
Man, Rare Replay was awesome. I wish they’d port it to PC. I also wish more studios would do similar things with their back catalogs. So many great older titles are just gathering dust, unavailable to players and generating no income for developers.
Aw, dang. You just made me realize that Rare Replay is the one good, true exclusive that the Xbox One still has--at least, it is, to my knowledge, the only game that hasn’t made its way to PC.
I don’t know, I don’t actually think one needs to read too deeply to understand what the developers were going for in the original Battletoads on NES; it boils down to starting every sentence with “wouldn’t it be cool if...”
I don’t think Microsoft understood anything about any Rare IP. Battletoads was the predecessor to Donkey Kong Country. Banjo was Rare’s take on Mario 64. Perfect Dark was sci-fi Goldeneye. They could’ve made a Diddy Kong Racing spiritual successor with Conker or Banjo as the lead. Just make those games and they have…
I would say play it and see if you feel differently. If you can, get a game pass trial for a couple of bucks. I wasn’t terribly sold on the art style off the bat and I didn’t know how combat worked(it looked mashy from the videos). It’s a VERY good beat em up, but I can’t say you’re too far off the mark -art style…
The heat death of the universe will come out before Star Citizen at this rate.
So it’ll come out before Star Citizen does is what I’m getting.
I think including a human in Star Fox would lead to more questions than anything, but it might also open up gigantic worldbuilding opportunities.
According to my grandmother who still lives up in Fairbanks, it’s been a particularly BAD mosquito year. Maybe not too coincidentally, she’s moving down to Oregon this summer haha!
