Yeah, I enjoyed the first one and even watched it a couple more times on DVD.

I would argue that Transformers 1 had some of the best CGI action scenes that had ever been done at the time, and a ton of later movies were heavily influenced by it, including some MCU stuff. You can probably thank Transformers for the MCU CGI fights not looking like Matrix Revolutions.

I’ll agree with you that the first Bayformers was the “best” but that’s such a low bar to pass. I will admit loving the Autobots arrival scene.

The first Transformers movie is a riff on E.T., and totally works. If you’re going to crib from Spielberg you have to use his best movie.

the scene where the Autobot Bumblebee pisses on John Turturro’s head.

The only issues I’ve had is with the AI getting stuck on something so I can’t talk to them to complete a quest. Once a guy got stuck on geometry, another got stuck on a natural bridge, and the last time I dropped a stormbird on the quest lady. Each time I’ve had to fast-travel away and fast-travel back to fix it.

bro---have you heard of Ubisoft?

That is really surprising. I always thought Suchomimus and Spinosaurus were very close cousins, but evidently they had quite different lifestyles.

1 Exploiting colorblindness
2 Spot the flounder
3 That’s not a leaf
4 The power of countershading
5 Octopus says do not touch
6 Seahorses just doing their thing
7 Ghosts in the ocean

Tangential rant incoming.

We non-upper-canines are homo Imperator. Come, boy, see for yourself. From here, you will witness the final destruction of the Alliance and the end of your insignificant rebellion.

I would love more Gotham madness. But I doubt WB would ever allow a series with that much budget descend into the absolute depths of bonkers land that Gotham could get into.

BotBots reminds me of this this:

Came here to say this. Can’t say Clancy Brown enough times. There’s no beating the classic DCAU.

Rob Paulsen!

AHHHHH!!!! (charges)

Came here to say this.

YOU LIE!

Brick Link can probably “fill in the hole, and complete the code!”
