And as himself, Alice Cooper.

Not sure how to answer some of these without spoilers. But #4 is yes.

Recent research pinpoints the SIV-HIV transmission somewhere in the southern corner of Cameroon, around 1905. Wasn’t ‘til the 70's that it was widespread (though there’s reports of Western cases as early as 1955, and rumors going back to 1945), so it did take a few decades to gain transmissibility - though that could

You know, seeing as how this is the normal, dumbed down King Shark I don’t mind it being voiced by Stallone instead of Funches. Funches portrayal of a sophisticated, well spoken creature of the sea is comic gold.  If I heard the same voice coming from an adaption where KS barely understands his own anatomy, it might

But its Stallone so I see that as an absolute win.

In fact a lot of the current research I’ve seen on Nature is saying that it now seems most likely that the virus was transmitted to humans in the countryside around Wuhan and carried by them to the market. The busy market being a crowded, busy super spreader environment which is why it was noticed there first.

it takes a while for it to figure out how to become more and more efficient in human-to-human transmission.”

one of my biggest things I hate is when people, whether scientists or laypeople, attribute intelligence to the random dice of evolution

The original TMNT is also pretty close to a tight 90 minutes. It delivers on action and its promise without taking forever. There’s not much wasted time in it, either, and there’s not a lot of headscratching edits. I wish more new movies could find a way to stop being so damn long.

I agree with all of this.

Man I genuinely hope it isn’t the last. I’d love for them to tackle additional Toho monsters. And like, where else will I get my giant-monsters-smashing-stuff fix if Legendary stops??

Yeah, I was pondering this as well, but when you look back at King of the Monsters, they already had all the big containment facilities, the giant wing-ship, the underwater lab thing.  They even had a containment shield for Mothra that failed after 3 seconds, so they obviously have some engineering capability.

Actually, Mechagodzilla isn’t the real big bad. That identity is still under wraps.

I particularly like the “check out more sideshows!” thing at the end like that’s something anyone will ever want to do.

For when getting ad views out of your users once per article just isn’t enough!

yup. I thought it was a skullcap and facepaint before seeing this. Like so:

You’re not the only one! The biggest takeaway I had from the special was learning that Paul Bettany didn’t have to go around with his ears covered all the time!

I was blown away. It seems very unnecessary...but the results are great.

She didn’t expect the long/night time working conditions. A stunt broke her neck*, requiring numerous stand-ins to cover for her, and some issues with suits, among other things (Which her injury only exacerbated).

By all accounts, it just seems like a bad fit for both sides. The producers and staff had a hard time working with her, and she had a bad time filming the show, too, since these CW shows are said to be a harsh experience in general due to how long they shoot in the cold weather of Vancouver. Then she had an accident
