I’m stoked as hell. Not familiar with Wes Ball...at least I don’t think I am.

I fully support the idea of naming prehistoric animals after mythological and fictional monsters. It’s happened before (Thanos, Sinemys gamera, Gojirasaurus) but it’s woefully uncommon.

I like the “we all are” option.

Oh man, I forgot about that. My man Lance! What a ripoff.

No, I think Thor rescued her but she definitely lost an arm. And then she disappeared for the rest of the movie. That pissed me off, because some of the pre-release hype was that Jamie Alexander was BACK, BABY and then she’s in it for maybe five minutes.

I don’t know about you guys, but my favorite part of that trailer was when a pop-up ad magically appeared at roughly the halfway point while the video was still playing.

I would classify this as paleontology rather than anthropology. The former is fossil-based, the latter is culture-based. At best, the connection to modern humans (which is distant) might land it somewhere in the middle: Paleoanthropology.

HELL YES

Love me some Mike Flanagan horror miniseries. I’m here for House of Usher. I still need to watch The Midnight Club.

Yeah, Peanut Hamper was a great one-off gag character but basing an entire episode around her was a little much.

My assumption is they’re going back to the Survivor well because that was a popular, well-received series of games. And while they are good, they all kind of blend together. I was annoyed that Shadow doubled down on the tiring Trinity angle. Lara accidentally trigger the apocalypse should have been interesting enough.

“Who you gonna call? Someone else!”

I really need to do the HeroForge thing for my two favorite D&D characters. A few of my friends have them and they’re really nice, despite the somewhat fuzzy look.

I feel the same way. I really enjoyed the 2014 movie and Skull Island. I also really enjoyed KotM, mostly because they brought back the Godzilla & Mothra’s themes and it embraced the Showa side of Big G.

God, I can’t stand Jennifer’s Body. It can’t figure out what kind of movie it wants to be, I’m not even sure it understands it own plotline.

It certainly does feel like every right/far-right public figure lands here eventually.

I got chills. Fucking stoked.

Super excited. It’s absolutely my favorite modern Trek show (although I need to watch more Strange New Worlds) because it’s both a hilarious parody of Trek while simultaneously being an excellent example of Trek.

I still pine for the 80's Happy Meal toys of my youth. Transforming menu items, McNugget characters with different hats.
