I’m enjoying “The Lost Years” more than I thought I would. The new Turtles are a bit tougher though, but I assume they’ll grow on me.

The obvious weekend double feature is Oppenheimer/Barbie, which I might actually do on Saturday.

YUUUUUP. The post-Endgame content has been struggling HARD to find a through-line. It seems like maybe they finally got there with Quantumania? “We’re doing multiverse stuff with KANG,” announced somebody at Marvel, after two or three years of throwaway sidestories.

so fucking stoked

YES! I love that scene when Lucius sees the screens.

Family Guy voice:

godfuckin’damn dude

I’m unreasonably excited for this. There’s a level of abstraction in the character designs that I really dig for some reason.

As others have stated below, I think the core issue with DC’s movies is that they saw the success of The Avengers but didn’t have the patience (or understanding) to understand why it was such a success. Marvel understood the idea of building an audience.

I will say that The Batman is VERY good. Much better than I anticipated. Might be my second favorite Batman movie after Dark Knight.

I seem to recall enjoying the first season of Evil. That said, I haven’t bothered catching up on any of the newer season(s).
