I wanted so badly to like The Thing (2011), but two things got in the way:

I love the art style, it’s so wonderfully dynamic. The character designs are a little “eh” but I’m perfectly willing to be proven wrong. I also like that this movie is taking place when they’re KIDS, a period of time the comics and shows haven’t really touched. Can’t wait to see it.

Basically came here to say this. How has it lasted this long?

Is it just me or does Amouranth get brought up a lot on Kotaku? Like there’s an Amouranth “beat” that rears its head every now and then.

And there always will be. We need to find a way to de-incentivize their use.

It seems like I’m reading more and more that the PC version of Game X is in terrible shape at launch, worse than the console versions and I always wonder why. Low-priority sku?

Happy to see ALL the theropods have lips (so far).

I still pine for my old “big red” T.rex toy from the first movie’s toy line. It was ENORMOUS and made stomping and roaring noises. Best dinosaur toy I’ve ever had. I wish every day that they’d remake it instead of these “legacy” toys that are just existing Jurassic World molds with different paint jobs.

Now that I agree with. I don’t think TikTok is any more or less damaging in the social media sphere than Twitter or Facebook. Politicians are going after TikTok because they’re a Chinese company who might be selling our data. You know who else is selling our data? Twitter and Facebook, and they’ve contributed to…

But isn’t that all social media? Twitter’s no better.

Please just let people enjoy things. It doesn't affect you in any meaningful way. It's like calling somebody a Packers stan for liking the Green Bay Packers. Who fucking cares? Live your life.

Once again showing that mosasaurs were thriving and diversifying during the Late Cretaceous. If it weren’t for that damn asteroid, they might still be around today.
