Considering their most notable games over the last...what, year? Have been Last of Us II, FFVII2: Lost in New Midgar, and Ghosts of Tsushima, I’d HOPE they have a bunch of PS5 titles in the pipe.

The only thing I want from the next generation of consoles is a near-eradication of load times. I don’t need ray tracing, I don’t need 4K Ultra HD, I don’t need more polygons. I want my games to start the second I click them, and I want to wait two seconds to respawn when I die in Control, not a minute.

I was so addicted to Smash Run.

I maintain that Smash 4 not just running but running SO WELL on the 3DS was that system’s greatest achievement.

I enjoyed it too, for the most part, mainly for capturing the general atmosphere of Silent Hill and the monsters that inhabit it. That said, I’ve been reluctant to revisit it.

I bought the Aladdin/Lion King collection on Switch. Oddly, I’ve had absolutely no inclination to play either game because I know my reflexes have slowed with time, and my patience for this kind of bullshit is at an all-time low.

I knew absolutely nothing about the first season when we started it. Halfway through the first episode, I asked my wife if this was a Ryan Murphy show. Hey, it IS, go figure. The man loves his tropes.

I love this movie so much. I didn’t know it was on Netflix; I’ll definitely be watching it this weekend.
