I really hope that they do it well. The books have such an amazing world in them fully realized, and the story is gripping. I think the show could be great because the books were not dependent on the admittedly great writing style.

This show looks like it really sucks. I have tried to get into the show so many times, because so many like it, but I just can’t. Is it Stockholm syndrome that is convincing you all to like this show? Did you childhood hold you ransom and you can’t see it is terrible even as an adult?

It is so weird that Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby are not in this movie. Why would you ever make a movie without all five of them? Even direct to DVD movies can afford a few extra actors, right?
