I don't care what I have to delete, I'm making room for "The Crowd" today.

She's been busy not being in Washington DC because apparently moving your child from one school to another is for poor people.

Mike Huckabee being an insensitive, offensive dick? You don't say!

I'm rather satisfied with her singing a song about accepting who you are in front of a 100 million+ audience.

Oh my gosh, I didn't even realize until now that "APB" is basically "Pure Genius" with police instead of doctors.

Today in "what the IMDb thinks they're best known for":
Dane DeHaan: Chronicle
Ronald Reagan: Production Manager, General Electric Theater
Kathy Najimy: King of the Hill
Bob Marley: Soundtrack, In the Name of the Father
Natalie Cole: Producer, Livin' for Love: The Natalie Cole Story
Rick Astley: Composer, Cashback

Haha, that was one I bought early on. (And this is the second time somebody's brought up "Monster" in regards to my used CD collecting in a few days. I've never seen that many copies where I shop, so they must be throwing most of them away.)

Did you watch the theatrical cut or the director's cut? I've only ever seen the theatrical cut (albeit with the IMDb-suggested edit of muting my TV during the opening that explains everything). I got the director's cut for my birthday long ago, but it's probably sitting in a box somewhere waiting for me to watch it.

Barbara Hershey: Black Swan
Tim Meadows: Mean Girls
Jennifer Jason Leigh: The Hateful Eight
Laura Linney: The Truman Show
Chris Parnell: 21 Jump Street
John Carradine: The Grapes of Wrath

What did the student say that explained it?

Tempting as it is to say "Florence Foster Jenkins" just to annoy Steve, I'll go with "Allied." I don't know that the costuming was anything special, but I liked the movie and wouldn't mind seeing it win an award.

Today in "what the IMDb thinks they're best known for":
Michael Sheen: Kingdom of Heaven
Tom Wilkinson: Batman Begins
Michael Mann: Producer, Heat

A Turner Classic Movies mention. I'm happy.

This last week in Sillstaw’s entertainment:

As a dedicated fan of buying used CDs, this is one of my great fears: That I'll buy an old CD and it will have rotted in some way by the time I get around to listening to it.

In the credits, Barrymore and Olyphant have "diagonal billing," where one is on the lower left and the other is on the upper right, so that depending on how you look at it, they both have top billing.

Both guesses are correct.

I'd have guessed that the image of Olyphant and Barrymore covered in blood and "acting casual" in the ads would have turned her off.
