What was the episode a long time ago when they were going to kiss on the couch and then in the next episode they start laughing at that kissing moment and talk about why that would be a bad idea? It could be one of those moments, but since we've already had one of those moments and since there is very little time left…

It did seem odd the way that Barney reacted every time he said "Dad" when he knows he father now. Seems like the type of reaction a pre-Lithgow Barney would have had rather than someone who now knows his father, whether he has a strong relationship with him or not.

I'd like it better if Robin's father cared enough to listen to what she was doing that day in New York, dug the locket up and gives it to her himself. Seems like what Robin really wants and needs is acceptance from her father, not Barney or Ted.
