This is infuriating. We are so ill-equipped to know exactly what procedures are being done to us, what medicines were used, and how much they should cost.
It’s impossible to keep track of if unconscious, but even if awake, imagine trying to keep track.
“Ok honey, remember to breathe! You’re doing great! Wait, what did

So... we now have actual scientific evidence for the answer to life, the universe, and everything? Douglas Adams really was a true genius!

I was a groomsman in a wedding, and just before the bride walked down the aisle, while lined up at the altar, my (poorly tailored...) tuxedo pants fell down in front of 100+ people.

Yeah, it’s that 1% that bugs me. I work my balls off all day so I get to do 100% of what I want at home. I don’t wanna do that compromise. Also I like to fuck in my kitchen. The counters and the bar are perfect for some very fun positions ^^

This is another amazing write-up, Heather. I love to read your stories and gather some insight into what you do and how it’s done.

There Is Joy In The Work

When you’re in it, it doesn’t often feel like a grind at all. Do it right, and it feels like sailing.”

Hey Heather, great article and thank you for sharing. Quite a whirlwind couple of weeks in the kinja-verse, to say the least. We all really appreciate your and the rest of Kotaku’s efforts. The personal touches you guys put into your work is what has made Kotaku my go-to for video game journalism for years.

Not exactly the same thing, but I have a condition that makes me have to pee, uh, all the time. It’s like I broke the seal ten years ago and then just never replaced it.

It’s probably not as bad as I haven’t changed my diet or anything, but I tangentially feel your pain. I’m IBS adjacent?

Just long enough for me to forget they’re coming. Nice!

Wourder

I am loving their Making Perfect series so far. To see them break down everything for every little piece to make a larger whole between them is great. It is their Avengers to continue the cinematic universe analogy.

I credit my push to cook most nights with 1. homeownership and 2. the BA cinematic universe. I can’t afford to eat decent food anywhere but my own home and I have learned SO MUCH about cooking from the YT channel, magazine, and podcast. I never imagined a silly video where a scruffy, attractive beast of a man made

It’s so good to hear from you, Bobby. The whole thing with Deadspin last week was a total bummer, another part of the “crippling badness.”

Showing the mistakes is what sets BA’s videos apart. Seeing Claire get experiment and be frustrated by her missteps makes those videos more approachable compared to the classic cooking demonstrations.

Didn’t read the article yet just wanted to say...

As long as Matt is editing, I can’t stop laughing during It’s Alive. The edit is just another personality to show.

Gourmet Makes is great not just because it’s great, but because you get a feel for Chris and Brad, and then you go watch their shows, and then you want to see more of what Molly is doing, so you go check out her series and then, and then, and then... you’ve watched literally every video they’ve posted and are waiting

I adore the B.A. Test Kitchen videos- it’s worth watching more than 1 chef or series just to get a look into the kitchen staff and their relationships, all of which are (mostly) wholesome, funny, and really supportive. Even if you don’t intend to re-create the actual recipes, it’s incredibly binge-able. And I’ve

I miss Vinny.  Brad just isn’t quite the same without him.  Still love the BA video’s as a whole though.  Molly, Brad, and Carla are my faves.

Also, it's really sweet that they took you all there. I had a horrible childhood and I think I love Disney so much because those were some of the best times I had as a kid. Some of the only good times.
