HDMI 2.1, 2.0, and 1.0 definitely make a difference. I had to buy a better cable than the default one that came in the box for 4K picture and sound.

I use a 4K TV for my main home computer monitor. It’s great for gaming and programming (my two main uses). I also have pretty poor eyesight, so when I don’t have my contacts in, the giant screen is ample real estate to zoom right the heck in to get very large print.

I read tons as a kid. I can see the point in saying that checking books off a list marathon style doesn’t really foster a love of reading. It feels like a chore when you have to read certain books and try for quantity over quality.

I’ve had bedbugs and I still buy stuff at thrift stores. No fabric upholstery, for sure. But tables and stuff? Sure. I give them a good wipe down first, outside. 

Those worn out sneakers are great for making costumes. You can paint/glitter/glue/sew them with abandon and then you don’t feel bad about tossing them after an event.

Personally, I thought escaping the lava in the Aladdin game was much harder than anything in the Lion King game but neither are what I’d describe as “fun for children” when you’re 7 and trying it for the hundredth time.

In high school and college, I lived in an area with good public transportation. Now I carpool with my husband to work, so the 10-15 minute commute isn’t an issue. It is annoying having to ask him for rides outside of work, though, but at least things like Uber and Lyft exist.
