Presumably, he’s paying that amount because he kept assets like the house, while the wife has to pay for a second residence to raise the kid. That’s usually how it works. So he has 10K to pay his own expenses and for the house he owns, and 20K goes to the wife to pay for a mortgage and her and the kid’s expenses. I

When I was 6 or so, I was at a toy store and there was something I wanted and my parents said they couldn’t afford it. So I told them to just “put it on the plastic!” I thought credit cards were like an allowance - free money you didn’t have to earn! They STILL haven’t let me forget it. But they did teach me about how

Ours is called “Cinderoomba” and my husband loves it far too much.

Yup, graphic and web designer here. Same deal. The worst part for me is working in advance - doing Thanksgiving work at Halloween and all the Christmas stuff before Thanksgiving really kills the holiday mood for me.

My standard Mother’s Day gift since I was old enough to understand the concept has been *doing* something for Moms. When I was a kid, I gave those cutesy coupons but Moms I’ve known all seem to most appreciate it when you cook or clean or kid-wrangle or otherwise afford them some time to themselves.

It’s almost as if they don’t want to call for help once they’ve been threatened, tortured, imprisoned and brainwashed. Weird, that.

I have called the cops before and would again for welfare checks for friends and family I couldn’t otherwise get to. However, none of those times have been a case of a person of color or one who was armed.

Here’s the only statistics I could find that cited some sources.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, 88 percent of abortions occur within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, with only 1.5 percent occurring after 21 weeks’ gestation. In the United States, 67 percent of abortion service providers perform abortions after

Trumps entire worldview can be summed up as contempt for anyone who doesn’t worship him and maintaining power at all costs. Every single thing he does and thinks and is is only in service of those two things. He wants to be in charge and he wants to be loved for it.

From the rest of the full article, it sounds like they were literally not allowed to leave, tortured with sleep deprivation, and possibly drugged. Not just willfully participating in some sort of swinger/exhibitionist lifestyle.

I at least appreciated the fan theory that Cap went back to a separate timeline where he marries Peggy, saves Bucky, dismantles Hydra, etc. and then comes back to the original timeline (somehow) at the end, leaving the shield for the timeline that might still need it.

I feel like this is the most disappointing part for me. The women characters are my favorites - I didn’t grow up with Iron Man or Thor or Cap the way a lot of people did, so I always felt a bigger connection to the women who were badass enough to keep up or even outdo those guys. I felt like the women were reduced to

Open relationships take “stronger, more understand people” only because they have to navigate their own agreements with their partners.

Woah, you totally misunderstood me. I was simply explaining the quoted part. The OP said non monogamous people present themselves that way. I was trying to say that the perception comes from the fact that non monogamous people have to communicate more than most monogamous people do to make their relationships work.

Cheater: someone who lies to their partner, has intimate relationships behind their back with other people

“an open relationship is an admission to every partner you have that they aren’t enough for you”

Open relationships are a negotiation between two people, where they both set their expectations. So some couples may be entirely polyamourous and pursue one or more full and meaningful relationships with other people while others might just have an open relationship to have casual sex with other partners. Everyone is

I like how Comey is Corney now.

Wow, thanks for all that info. It’s definitely something I need to look into!

Interesting. I’ve always had sleep difficulties and I did do a sleep study, but it was for O2 levels and sleep apnea, and results came back normal. I never really thought to look into it further.
