And some of the most solid work on the Justice League comics were when there was no Superman, no Batman, etc.

In terms of the show being considered overstuffed, I hope that Carter gets killed off, giving Kendra a real opportunity to develop into a solo, badass character. Imagine a season two premiere with a pared down cast, and Sara and Kendra as resident badasses.
There are probably a few opportunities to weed out the cast

This was definitely more fun than some of the early reviews indicated. It pretty much delivered on crazy superhero action, and despite juggling quite a few things managed a few poignant moments. I was definitely invested in Ray and Sara, and the little moments of Kendra and her son, and Rip opening up a little. I

When Dig asked to speak to him alone, I thought he was going to say "Oliver, this is some real Season One Bullshit right here!"

Cool thank you!

Shakespeare in Love is a great movie. I think it gets backlash though because it beat whatever Spielberg film came out that year for Best Picture Oscar. Inversely, the consensus that year was that the Academy shunned the Spielberg pic because they were exhausted with Oscar baiting. A movie like SiL might or might not

I was generally fine with the finale, although I can understand why people who were invested were so angry (it was the same thing for me with Lost).
The only thing I was fuzzy on at the time was where the idea came from to refute technology. True, it was a smart way of not repeating New Caprica, but it seemed to come

I didn't scratch my head at the convoluted description, a small smile tugged at the corner of my mouth. I've never read the books but it sounded like worlds I've been engrossed in. Case in point: I'm elbow-deep in The Dragonriders of Pern right now.

Oh god, the DAVE school. I've been mocking that place for years. There's a subset of movie makers that only do stuff because it's "KEWL!" like they CGI themselves with lightsabers fighting T-Rexes as they drive off in their flux capacitor cars.
There may have been some perfectly talented graduates, but none I've ever

Many Bothan makeup artists died to bring us this movie.

And I feel like CSNY collectively is more talented, but the Wilburys captured that real catchy pop sound. Honestly that was probably Ringo and George's influence.

A deeply silly Doctor Who episode takes an emotional turn? I think that's page one in the show bible.

LA Noire I liked, and Dead Space looked interesting.

Absolutely my type. And I appreciate the recommendations, I hadn't heard of the first two. Red Dead and its DLC were the first games I played on 360, I have a save file for just hunting bears in West Elizabeth.

A friend played it and loved it, I figure I shouldn't follow Skyrim with another fantasy anyway. Thanks!

That sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks!

Folks I need Xbox 360 recommendations. I just finished two solid years of Skyrim, so my question is: What other open world games will keep my attention? Will I be satisfied with a step backward (graphics-wise) with something like Fallout 3? Should I barrel through Dragon's Age? I have a few games I bought cheap

Han: "I said go around the trenches!"
Poe: "you said go between them!"
Han: "I said DON'T go between them!"

Fly casual, you fools!

Spoiler Space! Thank the Maker!
